I’m a thirty-something millennial that is pretty solidly in the middle for US politics. I tend to lean socially liberal and fiscally conservative which straddles the center but mostly means I have a home in neither major party. Originally born, raised, and educated in the Midwest, I have lived on the West Coast and Pacific Northwest for the past 15 years. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering but have been primarily working in software development for the last half of my career.

I started this blog because I didn’t feel like I was hearing anyone with a similar point of view in the main stream media outlets (and so I can stop annoying my wife with talk of politics).

For now I am going to remain reasonably incognito primarily because of how nasty politics has gotten.
